It is well-preserved with marble ruins of the ancient capital of Roman Asia, with its 25,000 seat great theatre. They are all situated on the side of a fertile valley.

Temple Of Artemis

Known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Temple of Artemis has been built in the area of Ephesus, which has turned into swamps over the centuries. Today ruins of the foundations of this incredible construction of the Hellenistic Age are seen entirely being made of marble and full of sculptured columns capitals and shafts.
Many beautiful remaining parts of this temple are today exhibited in the London British Museum.

House Of Virgin Mary

Located on top of Bulbul Mountain, House of Virgin Mary is known as a place of pilgrimage for Catholics, where it is believed Virgin Mary spent the remainder of her life. From the top of the mountain, it offers a panoramic view over the town.

Isabey Mosque

Isabey Mosque was constructed between the years of 1374 and 1375. In fact, it is one of the most delicate examples of Seljukian architecture, situated below the Basilica of Saint John. Crown-like doors from the Seljukian architectural style are identical about this mosque

Pamukkale

Also being known as the ‘Cotton Castle’, Pamukkale is located in the inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes Valley. There is a creation of multiple hot sprints, from which the water contains a large mineral content, with chalk, limestone and travertine cascading down the mountain, giving rise to the complexion of the mountains; resembling a frozen waterfall.
It creates a surreal landscape. It has brought Pamukkale to be listed on the World Heritage list.

Hierapolis

Hierapolis is an ancient city located on the top of Pamukkale. It is recognized as one of the World Heritage Sites. A mixture of Pagan, Roman, Jewish and early Christian influences give a touch to this city. Many people came to Hierapolis to soothe their ailments and often retire and die since the hot springs of Pamukkale were used as a spa since the second century. The ruins sprawl over a large area and there is a large necropolis filled with sarcophagi.
